Lake County Montana and the Polson Rural Fire District relies on volunteers to respond to emergencies within its jurisdiction. We honor and thank our volunteers. We list these heroes here with the station out of which they respond.

VOLUNTEER WITH US
Polson Rural Fire District depends on residents to volunteer their time to respond to emergencies that occur across 200 square miles of Lake County, Montana. These emergencies range from house fires to wildland/urban interface fires to vehicle accidents on our roads and highways.

YOU CAN BECOME A HERO.
If you're 18-years of age, you can become a volunteer firefighter. We offer training and other support for wonderful volunteer crew.
