Fire Station News from the Polson Rural Fire District
Station #4 building is operating and helping PRFD better serve its customers. Already it's affecting local insurance rates. PRFD's ISO rating is Class 6. Residents more than five miles from a fire station are Class 10, which means higher home insurance costs.  Located at 36500 Caffrey Road, the new station also solves the response-time problem PRFD had "going through Polson going south," says Chief Geiser. "We've got some industrial customers we serve down there. People are extremely pleased."
